One killed, 2 injured in road accident

One person was killed and two others were injured when their car rammed into a stationary truck here today, police said.

Irons rods protruding from the truck pierced into the car and passed through the body of a driver who died instantly, they said.

The deceased was identified as Amit Srivastava.

Other two persons in the car were also injured in the mishap and have been admitted at a private hospital, police said.

Police said they had to cut the car to take out the persons.
