One killed, 30 injured as bus collides with truck

One person was killed and 30 others were injured when a bus collided with a truck in Jalpaiguri district today, police sources said.

The bus was on its way to Falakatta from Alipurdaur when it collided with the truck coming from the opposite direction near Birpara, the sources said.

Among the 30 injured were some school children and college students, the sources said adding the injured have been admitted to Alipurduar Sub-Divisional Hospital.
