One member committee to investigate BED college irregularities

Facing opposition flak over irregularities over admission in the BED college, West Bengal Education minister Partha Chatterjee today formed a one member committee to investigate alleged irregularities in admission.

"We have formed a one member committee to investigate the matter. The committee will be headed by the vice-chancellor of Jadavpur University. He will preferably submit a report within the next seven days," Chatterjee said.

BED college is in Nadia district.
