One person killed, 80 injured as bus overturns

One person was killed and 80 others were injured when a bus overturned in Jalpaiguri district today, police said.

The speeding bus overturned as the driver lost control over the vehicle near Glassmore tea garden in Nagrakota Block of the district, the police said.

The injured have been rushed to Nagrakota Bospital, Mal Hospital and Siliguri Hospital, they said.

The bus was on its way to Siliguri from Shillong when it overturned.
