Over a dozen persons were injured when a clash broke out between two groups in Bhatpar Tola in Gagha area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when some persons of a community allegedly set afire three huts in dalit locality and attacked the vehicle and house of BSP leader Ram Nayan Azad, they said.
A clash broke out between the two groups in which over a dozen persons were injured, they said, adding, on complaint of the BSP leader, a FIR was registered against 100 persons including four named and rest unidentified.

Pradeep Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) said that strict action would be initiated against those involved in the incident and security has been deployed in the dalit colony.
Meanwhile, BSP state president Ram Achal Rajbhar also visited the locality and alleged that in Samajwadi party regime, atrocities on dalits have increased.
He demanded strict action against those involved in the incident and threatened to launch stir if the demand was not met.
