A Pakistani woman today tried to set herself on fire outside Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif's residence in northeast Pakistan over a family dispute.
The woman, a resident of Shafiqabad, was taken to Jinnah Hospital for treatment and the doctors claim she has sustained 30 to 40 per cent burn injuries.
Sharif has ordered the best medical assistance should be provided to her, Express News reported.

The chief minister has also asked for a report on the incident.
The woman has four children including three daughters, the report aid, adding, the husband of the woman was unemployed.
The brothers of the victim's husband used to torture him and did not give them their rightful share of family property, the report said.
The police allegedly did not help them in the matter and instead took sides with the brothers, it added.
