Panaji mayor fined for wrong parking

The traffic police here today recovered fine from the Panaji city Mayor Surendra Furtado for wrong parking.

The car was in a no-parking area outside the office of Corporation of City of Panaji.

"The car was parked in no-parking area and was obstructing the traffic flow. First we clamped a wheel of his car and later recovered a fine of hundred rupees," said inspector Brandon D'Souza.

The police were conducting a drive against traffic offenders today.
