Parts of UP receive moderate rainfall

The Southwest monsoon remained normal in the western part of Uttar Pradesh while light to moderate rains along with thunder showers occurred at isolated places over the eastern region of the state.

According to the MeT Department, Mathura received 8 cms of rainfall, Hathras and Lalitpur 6 cm each, Agra and Bisauli 5 cm each and Dhampur received 4 cm of rainfall.

Mahroni received 3 cm of rainfall while Rampur, Gunnaur, Kairagarh and Moradabad received 2 cm of rainfall each, it said.

The weatherman said rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in the eastern parts of the state tomorrow.
