Patient dies in hospital fire

A patient died of burn injuries after a portion of a hospital caught fire in Ajmer city of Rajasthan, police said.

The fire broke out in the store room of TB hospital and spread to adjoining areas.

Nathu Singh (46) suffered burns and succumbed to his injuries later, SHO Kotwali police station Suresh Soni said, adding the fire has been brought under control.

The body has been handed over to the victim's family.
