Janasena Party of actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, who has been raising the demand of special category status for Andhra Pradesh, would hold a public meeting at Anantapur on November 10.
Kalyan has named the meeting 'Seemandhra Hakkula Chaitanya Sabha' (meeting to raise awareness about rights of Seemandhra), the party said in a statement today.
Kalyan held a public meeting at Kakinada last month to raise the demand of special category status promised to Seemandhra (the new Andhra Pradesh state) by the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh after the bifurcation.
The Janasena founder whose campaign in support of the TDP-BJP combine in the 2014 elections helped the alliance in a big way hit out at BJP for not accepting his demand.
