A woman and her 11-year-old son were today killed after being crushed by a moving train near Neelam Bridge here, police said.
Mujesar resident Geeta Saini (34) was married to Girish Saini of Borlawa colony in Old Faridabad and the couple were parents to a daughter and a son Gautam, they said.
Geeta was apparently worried about her husband's drinking habits which often led to arguments between them. The family's financial condition was also "not-so-good", a police official said.
After a heated argument with Girish this morning, Geeta along with Gautam left the house and reached the railway tracks on Neelam Bridge and allegedly committed suicide under an EMU train going towards Palwal, the official said.
Police reached the spot after being informed by the locals. The bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said.
