Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has directed the state administration to provide a kit to a struggling archer and help the daughter of an IAF pilot who lost his life in a 1989 chopper crash, in getting a job.
The directions came after a public grievance hearing session at the chief minister's residence here, said an official release.
Harmandeep, the archer, was assured of all possible help by Amarinder, who directed the Patiala Deputy Commissioner to help him in participating at the national trials beginning August 16, it said.

The chief minister also assured help to the daughter of an Indian Air Force pilot who lost his life in a helicopter crash in 1989.
This was the second such public hearing by Amarinder since he joined the office in march this year, the release added.
