An alleged drug peddler has been arrested with a large quantity of psychotropic drugs from the railway station here, police said today.
During a special checking at the railway station last night, Amarjit Singh of Doraha in Ludhiana district was found carrying a bag containing psychotropic drugs including 1,200 capsules, 2,900 tablets and 90 vials, they said.
The accused is in his twenties, police said, adding that a case under NDPS Act has been registered against him.
