Petronet LNG shares up over 3 pc on Sept quarter earnings

In terms of equity volume, 13.35 lakh of the company were traded on and over one crore shares changed hands on during the day.

Net profit at Rs 589 crore in July-September was 28 per cent higher than Rs 460 crore net profit in the same quarter of previous year, Petronet Managing Director and CEO Prabhat Singh told reporters.

"We have beaten all records in the second quarter, be it quantity wise, profit-before-or profit after (net profit)," he said.
