Drug firm Pfizer today reported 4.36 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 62.37 crore for the quarter ended on December 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 59.76 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Standalone total income from operations stood at Rs 510.23 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 526.26 crore for the same period year ago, Pfizer said in a filing to BSE.
In a separate filing to bourses, the company said that its board has appointed Ravi Prakash Bhagavathula as additional director, designated as an Executive Director, Finance, with effect from today for a period of five years.
Shares of Pfizer today closed at Rs 1,791.75 on BSE, down 0.33 per cent from previous close.
