PM Modi greets Kazakh President on birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev on his 75th birthday, ahead of his visit to the Central Asian country tomorrow.

"Wishing President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan on his 75th birthday. I pray for his long life & good health," tweeted Modi.

Modi, who is Tashkent on the first leg of his eight-day visit to Central Asia and Russia, flies to the largest Kazakh city Almaty tomorrow for talks with Nazarbayev.

He will travel to Russia on July 8.
