PM Modi greets people of Odisha on Raja Parba

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended his greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Raja Parba, which marks the beginning of rains.

"Greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Raja Parba. May this festival bring happiness & prosperity in everyone's life," Prime Minister Modi said in an official statement.

Raja Parba or Mithuna Sankranti is a four-day-long festival and the second day signifies beginning of the solar month of Mithuna, from which the season of rains starts.
