Police need to rediscover laughter, says former AP DIG

Police should find moments of laughter in their hectic life, former director general of police (of united Andhra Pradesh) M V Krishna today said.

"Humans are the only creatures blessed with the gift of ability to laugh," the retired official said, adding that laughing keeps a person in good health.

Rao, another former DGP M V Bhasker Rao and former chief secretary M Gopalakrishna today released 'Humour on Police', a book penned by Kurnool DIG of police T Muralikrishna here.

In the book, the writer (a serving officer) narrates humorous incidents observed during his career.

"Police nowadays have forgotten to smile or laugh in their busy schedule maintaining the law and order, but this ultimately creates health problems," Bhasker Rao said.
 

Therefore the police should take out time to learn to smile and laugh, he said.
