Policeman shot dead

assailants at Nayangaon village in Bihar's Munger district, a police officer said.

W Yadav, posted at BMP-9 camp in the village, was shot dead by two unidentified assailants while he was returning for work from his in-law's house, Additional Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra said.

Personal enmity was stated to be motive behind Yadav's murder, he said.

Raids were being carried out to nab the culprits.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, Mishra said.
