Pondy CM pays tribute to Actor Sivaji Ganesan
Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy paid homage to veteran Tamil film actor Sivaji Ganesan on the occasion of his 89th birth anniversary today.
Welfare Minister M Kandasamy, Deputy Speaker V P Sivakolundhu, MLAs and also delegates of Puducherry Freedom Fighters Movement were among those who paid tributes at the statue of the actor here.
Puducherry was the first state to erect a statue for the thespian of the Tamil film world.
Sivaji Ganesan fans Associations celebrated the actor's birth anniversary at various places in and around the town.
