A portion of the compound wall of the airport here collapsed following heavy rains, police said today.
They said the part of the wall, extending to about 50 feet length, collapsed last night.
Steps were taken to put up a temporary barricade and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel had been deployed round-the-clock near the damaged portion of the wall, police added.
Heavy rains lashed the city and several parts of the district yesterday.
