Postmaster kidnapped in Jharkhand's Dumka

A postmaster of Chamara Baihar branch was today abducted by unidentified men in Dumka district, a senior police officer said.

Amarnath Jha, a resident of Amba village under Jermundi police station of the district, was on his way to Dumka headquarters town on his motorcycle when unidentified miscreants on a four-wheeler intercepted him and forcibly took him away, Superintendent of Police Vipul Shukla said.

Shukla said a hunt was on to trace the alleged captors.
