Actress Amy Jo Johnson, the original pink Power Ranger Kimberly Hart in "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" is all set to direct her first feature.
The 44-year-old actress, who moved to Canada to play Jules Callaghan in the Canadian cop drama "Flashpoint", wrote the film and will direct and co-star in "The Space Between".
The theatrical comedy also stars fellow Flashpoint star Michael Cram, Sonya Salomaa ('The Killing'), Maria Ricossa, David Paetkau and Kristian Bruun.
"X-Men: First Class" writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz were tapped to pen the script, while Haim Saban, Brian Casentini, Allison Shearmur and Roberto Orci are producing.
