Prez condoles death of Sister Nirmala

President Pranab Mukherjee today condoled the death of of Sister Nirmala who succeeded Mother Teresa as the head of the Missionaries of Charity founded by the Nobel laureate.

"Heartfelt condolences on passing away of Sister Nirmala. Hers was an inspiring life dedicated to service of the poor," he said in his message shared ion Twitter.

Sister Nirmala Joshi breathed her last in Kolkata this morning. She was 81.
