PTI's London office Manager passes away

Rafiq Ahmad, Manager in Press Trust of India office here, died today after a brief illness.

Ahmad, 61, was posted to London in the 1980s from New Delhi to take administrative charge of PTI operations in the UK. He also served as Treasurer of the Indian Journalists' Association (IJA).

He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
