Puducherry Assembly to take up vote on account on Mar 10

Puducherry Assembly has been convened to meet on March 10 to adopt Vote on Account Bill for earmarking fundsfor meeting government expenditure for a part of the fiscal 2016-17 in view of coming elections.

The House would meet at 10.30 on March 10, Assembly Secretary S Mohandoss told PTI today.

With Puducherry slated to go for assembly elections on May 16, the government would move a vote on account in view of the enforcement of code of conduct with immediate effect today, officials said.
