"Introduction of Tejas, Uday and Hamsafar superfast express trains is a farsighted step of (Railway Minister) Suresh Prabhu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It will give speed to growing Bharat," Chouhan tweeted on rail budget.

He also expressed gratitude to Prabhu for the proposal to modernise Bhopal's Habibganj railway station.

"A new chapter will be added in the development of the state with the decision to modernize Bhopal's Habibganj railway station. On behalf of the people of Madhya Pradesh, I express gratitude towards the Rail Minister," Chouhan said in a series of tweets on rail budget.

He said the introduction of separate toilets for differently-abled persons underlines the humanitarian approach of the government.

"Convenience of senior citizens, women & kids has been given special emphasis in #RailBudget2016. In it's true sense a people's budget. Special emphasis on modernization in #RailBudget2016 will go a long way in realizing aspirations of people. Will give boost to the economy," he tweeted.
