South-West monsoon was normal in Uttar Pradesh as light to moderate rain or thunder showers occurred at a few places in the eastern part of the state today.
According to Met department, Churk recorded maximum 15 cms of rainfall while Ghorawal, Robertsganj and Dudhi received 13, 12 and 10 cms of rain respectively.
Weatherman warned of heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places and rain or thunder shower at many places in eastern part in the next 24 hours.
