Rains lashed parts of Bihar today
bringing the mercury down in the state, according to state MeT department.
The state capital, Patna recorded 28.1 mm rainfall. It was 107.2 mm rains in Gaya while Bhagalpur and Purnea recorded 14.6 mm and 37.1 mm rains respectively.

The maximum temperature in Patna was registered at 27.6 degrees Celsius while it was 28.3 degrees in Gaya. Bhagalpur and Purnea recorded 29.6 and 31.8 degrees Celsius respectively, according to state MeT department.
The weather office has forecast cloudy sky with intermittent rains tomorrow.
Apprehending floods in view of widespread rains, control rooms of the disaster management at the state and district level have been activated.
The central flood control, in a statement, said that all barracks are safe in the state.
