Raj: 14 lakh cash in demonetised notes seized

Jalore police have seized unaccounted cash of Rs 14. 24 lakh comprising of currency notes in demonetised denominations of Rs 500 and 1,000.

During checking, police seized the cash from a vehicle at Siwada check post late last night.

The accused, Ramlal and Jodharam Jat, were carrying the cash in plastic bags.

"The suspected black money has been handed over to the income tax department for further investigation," police said.
