The CM, acknowledging shortage of doctors, said that the women self-help group (SHG) members should be given training for treatment at the Primary and Community Health Centres.
"This would enable them to offer primary treatment in the village itself. This way, they would not replace the doctors, but could provide some relief through first-aid," she added.
Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Surendra Goyal, Women and Child Development Minister Anita Bhadel and others were present on the occasion.
