A total of 204 people, wanted for various crimes like eve-teasing, liquor smuggling, illegal arms sale, have been arrested by Rajasthan Police from various parts of the state in last one week, a senior official said.
Of the 204 accused, 24 have been arrested for eve-teasing, 69 for smuggling of liquor and sale of illegal arms, 93 for gambling, and 18 others for illegal possession of arms, during a routine drive to nab miscreants, a government PRO said.
The state police had taken up the drive as part of the Vasundhara Raje government's mission to curb criminal activities and arrest those involved in various crimes in 60-days, the PRO said, quoting Director-General of Police Omendra Bhardwaj.
