Raj Thackeray's wife undergoes surgery after dog bite

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray's wife Sharmila has undergone a surgery after suffering a dog bite.

A party functionary said the incident occurred yesterday when one of their two pet Great Danes 'Bond' bit Sharmila on the face at the couple's house Krushna Kunj in Dadar.

She was rushed to the Hinduja Hospital where she underwent surgery yesterday.

The couple love dogs and have another dog named 'James'.
