Rajasthan Governor not to hold Roza-Iftaar party

Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva will not host the annual Iftar get-together this Ramzaan owing to the Uttarakhand tragedy.

Traditionally Raj Bhawan used to hosts Roza Iftaar party during the holy month of Ramzaan, but due to last month's devastation in Uttarakhand, there would be no Roza-Iftaar this year, an official said today.
