A 53-year-old man strangled his wife to death and then committed suicide by hanging at their house in Rajasthan's Udaipur district, police said on Tuesday.
Sunil Soni killed Suman (38) on Monday night and later committed suicide as he suspected his wife was having an extramarital affair, they said.
On Tuesday morning, Suman's body was found on bed, while Soni's was hanging from ceiling, said Station House Officer, Goverdhan Vilas, Chenram Pachar.
He said the couple had no children.
Soni had also written a man's name on a wall in the house, holding him responsible for the deaths, the SHO said, adding that the man will be interrogated.
The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem, the officer said.
