Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 set to release in China

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's latest is set to be released in in May, the film-maker Lyca Productions said Wednesday.

The producers, in a press release, said, they have been associated with the Beijing-based production and distribution company for the release of '2.0'.

"The dubbed and subtitled versions are scheduled for release in in 10,000 theatres with a whopping 56,000 screens, including 47,000 3D screens", the release said.

Touted to be one of the biggest films in terms of production cost, Shankar's directorial has Rajinikanth, and playing the lead, the release said.

The music is scored by double Oscar-winner A R Rahman, it said.

'2.0' is a sequel to 'Enthiran' released in 2010.
