Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy led the Union Territory of Puducherry to pay tributes at the statue of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Congress leader K Kamaraj on the occasion of his 113th birth anniversary today.
Speaker V Sabapathy, Ministers, legislators, officials, representatives of various organisations, students and freedom fighters were among those who paid homage at the statue. Chief Minister later paid floral tributes at the portrait of Kamaraj at a function held on the premises of office of the ruling AINRC.
A team of Congress functionaries led by new president of the PCC A Namassivayam also paid tributes at the leader's portrait at the party office.
