Refined palmolein prices surged further in an otherwise lacklustre oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to rising offtake from retailers as well as sustained domestic demand.
While, linseeds oil slipped owing to subdued offtake from paint and allied industries.
However, groundnut oil, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
Turning to edible segment, refined palmolein climbed by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 536 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 528. Groundnut oil held unchanged at Rs 930 per 10 kg.
In non-edible section, linseeds oil fell by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 835 against Rs 840 previously. Castorseed bold and castoroil commercial all closed unchanged at Rs 2,975 per 100 kg and Rs 625 per 10 kg, respectively.
