Refined palmolein prices softened in an otherwise mute Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to reduced retail buying.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, Refined plamolein edged down by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 456 from last Friday's closing level of Rs 457. Groundnut oil finished unchanged at Rs 1,000 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseed bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil all ended unaltered at Rs 4,000 per 100kg, Rs 830 per 10kg and Rs 770 per 10kg.
