Refined soya oil prices moved down by 0.21 per cent to Rs 663 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants booked profits at prevailing levels amid easing demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in November drifted lower by Rs 1.40 or 0.21 per cent to Rs 663 per 10 kg with an open interest of 62,070 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in October contracts shed 85 paise or 0.13 per cent to Rs 655 per 10 kg in 2,850 lots.
Market analysts said besides profit-booking by traders at existing levels, fall in demand against adequate stocks position led to decline in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
