A report from Ludhiana said that protestors squatted on the railway track at two places on the outskirts of the industrial town disrupting railway traffic on the main Ludhiana-Delhi section.
The protestors had assembled at Dhandari Kalan and near the Jagraon Bridge disrupting movement of the trains.
The affected trains included Sahranpur Ludhiana Passenger and Hardwar bound Jan Shatabdi Express from Amritsar.
