Retd Justice Agarwal takes oath as Haryana Lokayukta

Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki today administered oath of office to new Lokayukta Justice (Retd) Nawal Kishore Agarwal.

Agarwal succeeds Justice (Retd) Pritam Pal, who completed his five-year term on January 18, said an official release.

Agarwal was appointed a judge in the Chhattisgarh High Court on March 31, 2009. He retired on July 23, 2014.

Originally from Bahror, Rajasthan, he completed LLB from MES College, Bilaspur in 1977.

He practised law in District Court, Bilaspur and the Chhattisgarh High Court and was designated as Senior Advocate in 2005, said the release.
