Retired teacher found dead

A 65-year-old retired teacher was allegedly stabbed to death in northeast Delhi's Welcome, police said today.

The deceased, Omprakash, used to run a departmental store. On Tuesday, he had gone to his shop, but did not return till late in the night, they said.

His body was later found lying in a pool of blood. His neck had been slashed with a sharp object, police said.

The matter is being investigated, they added.
