Rijuju arrives in Manipur to review security measures

Union Minister Kiren Rijuju arrived here today on a two-day official visit to review security measures in Manipur and other northeastern states, officials said.

The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs told reporters that the ongoing peace talk between the Centre and the NSCN-IM and its framework agreement will not affect neighbouring states of Nagaland.

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb also arrived here. Deb said Tripura had historical relationship with Manipur.
