Employee of city-based Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital today contributed a day of their salary to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for victims of quake-hit Nepal.
"The employees of the RML Hospital have contributed their one day salary to the Prime Minister Relief Fund to the tune of Rs 20 lakhs for Nepal earthquake victims," an official statement said.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital, A K Gadpayle handed over the cheque to Health Minister J P Nadda today in the presence of Health Secretary (HFW) and other senior officers.
Nadda also appreciated the initiative of the employees of the hospital for the noble cause.
