Rob Lowe 'had a blast' playing bad guy in "Monster Trucks"

Actor Rob Lowe, who plays the villainous Reece Tenneson in "Monster Trucks", said he had a lot of fun taking on the role of the main bad guy in the Chris Wedge-directed movie.

The 52-year-old star believes that "you can have a lot more fun when you get to be real nasty," reported Contactmusic.

"I always find in hero movies that sometimes the really fun part is the villain and I'm having a blast playing Tenneson.

"The character's memorable, it's very well written, he's a guy you love to hate and sometimes those are the best roles," he said.

Rob Lowe is currently starring in a hospital drama "Code Black" with Marcia Gay Harden.
