Robbers loot aluminium worth Rs 8 lakh

Aluminium worth rupees eight lakh was stolen from a factory here by a gang of armed-robbers, police said today.

At least five robbers entered into the premises of a aluminium wire-manufacturing factory here last night and stole goods worth rupees eight lakh, a police official said.

The guard Bhagwan, who had been employed just last week, had been locked in a room by the robbers.

"Bhawan has been interrogated. Further investigations in the case are on," police said.
