Rotary exhibition for social integration of transgenders

An exhibition of crafts by transgenders was organised by Rotary International to bring members of transgender community to the mainstream.

District 3290/3291 Governor Shyamashree Sen inaugurated the exhibition at the function recently where a docu-feature was also screened

Keynote speaker Urmi Basu who highlighted issues affecting the transgender population, while imparting of training to transgenders for non-armed security guard posts was also announced.
