Rs 3 cr worth narcotic seized from man at airport

Fifteen kg of narcotic drug Methacquone, valued at Rs three crore in the international market, has been seized from a man by Air Customs Intelligence officials at nearby Karippur international airport.

The man, hailing from Chennai, was arrested when he arrived at the airport last night to board an Emirates flight to Dubai, custom sources said.

The drug was found packed in small packets and hidden in a bag, they said.
