Rs 31.37 lakh looted from ATM

Robbers used a gas cutter to open an automated teller machine (ATM) and decamped with Rs 31.37 lakh at Amarpur village, about 11 km from here, the police said today.

The cash logistics company, which deposits money in that ATM of a nationalised bank, has registered an FIR in this regard.

The heist at the ATM took place late last night, police said.
